As I understand it, Ms. Green is a state representative from Wasilla, Palin's former mayoral stomping grounds. She has butted heads with Palin on state issues in the past, especially the budget (and, as you no doubt have heard by now, Palin racked up something like a $20 million debt as mayor of Wasilla, which only has 9,000 citizens).

None of this will make the least bit of difference -- see: John McCain laughs at Hillary Clinton being called a bitch. The GOP gets its own set of rules. I think this is indicative of just how little respect women are afforded in our culture, and especially in politics. Women running for office with the GOP either have to be beauty pageant contestants or else look like total whores (Katherine Harris, Sue Myrick, Elizabeth Dole). What's a few "bitch" comments to them?

Besides, there are more than enough glaring weaknesses in the McCain/Palin ticket to attack without making her answer for the comments of two assholes on a radio show (and aren't they all assholes?).

I am most imperfect, and with a terrible sense of humor. I admit that I also would laugh at all sorts of stupid stuff, but I am not running for VP.

Will do the right thing in November. But there are A LOT of morons in this country. And they vote. Palin is against a womans right to chose even in the case of incest or rape. The right wing loonies love this type.
