5. Sen. Obama is wise to not admit that he was wrong about the surge.
Sen. Obama will admit that there have been successes with the surge, but there is nothing good that would come from admitting he was wrong about Sen. Obama not wanting the surge to happen. I believe that Sen. Obama is a gracious man, and dealt with Mr. O'Reilly more graciously than most people could tolerate. Gobama!

10. Every time we kill innocent people, it proves that Georgies War is wrong.
I am ex-military, and collateral damage has made me very skeptical of military solutions, moreover, the War in Iraq was/is illegal. Bush is a War Criminal.

17. Backing away from teh front lines worked.
Letting them finish the ethnic cleansing worked.

If by "worked", we mean that fewer Americans are dying every day.

Now, if "worked" is supposed to mean that we solved some of the underlying problems there, well that's a different story.

The simple truth is that if we walk away today, Iraq is far more dangerous, unstable, and threatening to our safety than it was before we invaded.

Respectfully? with deference to even the office of Senator? How anyone could support O' Reilly when he behaves this way is beyond me. I am once again at Obama'a patience. The man is a Saint. With that asshole yelling over him and openly distorting what he was syaing he just kept going.

Of course Obama's poops are smarter than O'Reilly so it's not an intellectual challenge more of a moral one. I need to go find that "There are no words there! Fuck it! We'll do it live!" video to wash this off.

I was sorry that I missed the interview, but I am not sure that I can stand to watch the rest of it next week. O'Reilly is just intolerable; he treats persons with far greater knowledge, intellect and achievements than he has as if they were idiots. His arrogance is just beyond belief, and there is something extremely immature in his rudeness. He seems to equate boorish behavior with being a tough-minded journalist. Real journalists, of whom we have few left in this country, know better.
