1. In other words, don't ask her whether Trig is really her baby
and she's lying her ass off. Why she got on an 8-hour plane flight after going into labor. Why she moved her daughter to another high school in the middle of the school year. Why she won't end speculation simply by providing a birth cert.

5. I'm sure the GOP is busily preparing a "birth certificate" to show the media
They lie about everything else, why not this?

The only thing that would settle this is a DNA test, conducted by an impartial group.

8. I don't give a flip about that damn baby! Don't get distracted with the soap opera.
Even though I think she's a dressed-up redneck, those are not the kind of questions that she needs to answer. She needs to be asked questions about complicated issues of international relations and domestic economic issues - on the economy, she needs to be probed about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - on international relations, she needs to be asked about things she should know, but they won't have time to prep her on - there are plenty of those.

34. Yes, but there are plenty of other lies and hypocrisy to use.
Lots of women especially will probably be turned off if too much further attention is given to Babygate or Teenmothergate. Plus, Obama has said in no uncertain words, that he thinks family members are off-limits.

Let the National Enquirer and the blogs do the mud-slinging on the highly fertile Palins.

50. It depends on what kind of evidence turns up.
Right now, it's all circumstantial. And as far as I know it's not illegal to pretend you're the mother of your daughter's baby.

If conflicting legal records are found and it looks like a law has been broken, that's a whole new ball game.

The woman from Alaska who wrote the expose' letter said Trig is her baby. She LIED about it to her family and her constituents for SEVEN MONTHS.

She's a LIAR. There's proof. Leave the baby out of it. Grow the freak up.

Somebody needs to call her bluff and say, "hey, we won't ask you any personal stuff about your kids or the Enquirer allegations, but everything else is fair game." Fuck. Every other candidate has to answer to the media, why shouldn't she?

15. If she's running on a platform of "abstinence only" then
the failure of that platform in her own household is an issue. Just like John Edwards' infidelity calls in to question his integrity and discretion, both of which are important qualities in a public servant.

40. No that is not true
Republicans make laws and policies for others. Look at Bush
and Cheney they have no laws governing their criminal policies
and actions.

Our right wing republican Attorney General Mukasey stated:
http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/08/13/attorney-general-tells-aba-not-every-crime-is-a-crime/

Where there is evidence of criminal wrongdoing, we vigorously
investigate it (We know this is except when it is a republican
and he say no), And where there is enough evidence to charge
someone with a crime, we vigorously prosecute(If you are a
democrat). But not every wrong, or even every violation op the
law, is a crime.(If you are a republican in good standing with
their criminal policies)

So republicans are not punished for their crimes unless it is
against a member of their own party's or their policy.

On the other hand democrats are not allowed to make
statements against any republicans , wear T-Shirt with
anti-Bush statements or be allowed to attend their meeting or
public affairs.
They must at all times allow republicans and their corporate
news media to make slanderous , lies , BS , misstatements and
propaganda against them and not to complain or say a word in
their defense. And no republican can be held responsible for
their lies and deceit , but are allowed to tell another lie to
explainer their original lie.
You have the picture democrats are not to be seen or hear
from.

42. I don't care too much about ethics and so forth, but I don't think it would be a winning issue for
us. You do make a very good point as to how it relates to policy. We would have to be VERY careful how we framed and approached that shit. I don't think it's worth the risk, personally.

It was just announced that she will be doing an interview with Charlie Gibbs of ABC next week.

I guess the McCain realized that they were not going to be able to get away with this ridiculous idea that Sarah Palin doesn't have to answer any press or voter questions.

Afterall, the election is a vetting process. A vetting process by the American voters.

44. Kerry let the republicans have their way with their BS
Until it was to d... late. Then of course their polls stated
that the race was close , so they could steal it with their
corruption.

Kerry never even rejected to the inconsistencies , was pushed
into making a hurried up statement to conceding , then
Bush&Cheney stole another election..

Obama needs to stop calling McCain a nice person and his
friend , because he is far from either.

Obama needs to attack aggressively and often...

By Obama's lack of aggressive attacks , he is losing points
every week , to one of the worst losers we have ever have
running for the office of president.
Obama is letting McCain's campaign run what subject is talked
about in the news media , demeaning him and the democrats ,
while daring him to attack him or Palin (another Cheney with a
gun).

Just how long do you believe McCain would survive , if they
are elected to office.
I believe it might be another Cheney hunting trip with his
VP>>>

...complaisance: a disposition or tendency to yield to the will of others

That was hardly the tone which Sarah Palin used when she gave her speech, she set the tone!

to focus on the "she needs to ansnswer questions about that baby" angle.

They will use the baby and say she didn't speak to the media because she was protecting her daughter. It's not the baby that's keeping her hidden from the public. It's her own glaring incompetence. Any real interview would expose this.

Maybe she's lying about the kid. Yes, we know. Abstinence only doesn't work. She lies. Too bad we'll never prove it.

They want us to focus on the kid. We can't prove anything, and it's the kind of sensitive issue they can turn around on us.

The real issue is that she's hiding from the media because she's so incompetent that she can't show her face in public.
