I just did & the woman who answered told me how offended she was. She also said others were offended & the MSM has picked it up. Then she asked if I was from her district. She hung up when I said no. So of course, I immediately called back & let her know that in this age of internet tubes that all politics is national & that I will be donating to Rep. Miller's next opponent & that donation double because she got angry & hung up on me. We're taking this country back one dumb ass at a time!

They are not offended that people are suffering everywhere, but they're fucking offended when someone uses a long standing political barb. WTF!

This woman goes on national television and disparages Obama for simply using a phrase that is well known and well understood, and then her office won't speak to anyone that's not in her little ole district? That's a little arrogant, don't you think?

I wasn't aware that McCain/Palin had a copyright on the phrase "lipstick on a pig", so Obama can use it anyway he sees fit. It did not offend me one bit and I don't appreciate this old haglet acting like she has authority to speak for "the women of America". She is obviously way out of touch.

With regards to your "outrage" over Sen. Obama's referring to continuing 8 years of failed policy as "putting lipstick on a pig" I believe it is you, Congresswoman, who owes the American public an apology for spewing republican talk points on the floor of the House.

The women of America deserve an apology from McCain for hoisting such a pitiful example of woman-hood on America!
