even accepting, arguendo, that her role in the eventual (possible) construction of a natural gas pipeline amounts to "experience" with energy, it is a HUGE leap from that to having foreign policy experience. what about all those other countries without oil reserves? what ability or knowledge does she have to address them? how about all the non-energy foreign relations issues?

also, in comparing Obama to Palin, McCain kept saying she was right and Obama was wrong, referring, I must assume, to her opinions since I've never once heard her present a proposal, recommendation, or plan on any of the topics he listed. but having an opinion does not equate to having experience.

put another way, I have an opinion as to how open heart surgery should be done, that is successfully and without the patient developing a post-surgery infection or complication, but that doesn't give me the experience to do the operation.
