Want to argue about whether they're gutless or complicit now? Ehh...probably not helpful.

But I WON'T soon forget about the past cowardice.

Kerry made some of the same points in 04. This is not an election campaign where reason and logic will win out. This is gutter politics in which the person who's able to stab the other in the back faster is going win. Obama's surrogates need to call McCain and Palin crazy liars and fringe lunatics. Some of that is already happening. For instance Palin really believes that Earth is 6000 years old and that Armageddon is nigh. Do you want the launch codes in the hands of a crazy person like that?

McCain was just photographed with his lobbyist, an italian crook who's about to go to jail 4 fraud and Anne Hathaway in Montenegro. That picture needs to get out! People have to perceive McCain as untrustworthy, somebody who has strange dealings with the criminal underworld, and is working for lobbyists not the american people.

This support the troops patriotic bidding game is cute and it needs to be done but I am afraid at the end of the day little of that applies to McCain.

the word/frame game, by choosing words that appeal on primordial levels i.e. and i paraphrase, 'if you're trying to win the hearts & minds of people, you have to win their hearts first so that with time being a factor (like a shot or play clock) for most it never gets round to the mind' = don't talk about universal health care to get bogged down in the minutia republicans while inevitably, tirelessly throw as pointed Q's, just say everyone will have access to a doctor deflect pointed Q's

Westen making the point as well that it is a form of folly to confuse checkers with chess. the proof of that is in the pic of McCain you've put up. while many of us sit here trying to understand ways to make republicans feel uncomfortable by suggesting skits for SNL, or rec'ing our favorite left-wing word-smiths; republicans are walking up onto yachts w/their lobbyists at their sides shaking hands with convicted felons in Montenegro........Montenegro!!
