This is going to backfire which such force its going to knock us on our ass.

John McCain can't use a keyboard and has trouble with a mouse because his fine motor skills were destroyed by the VietCong.

When the public learns that and it gets into the right wing echo chamber, it is going to turn out badly for Obama who looks like he's mocking McSame's injuries.

He can't use a computer because he can't adjust to new technology. I don't buy the "injury" explanation.

So let's tie it together with how he finished 5th from the bottom of his class.

There are SO many other things to attack McSame on, why pick this one? Couldn't Obama's campaign have googled this to find out the same crap thats everywhere on the internet now?

maybe some sort of I-Pod or something. The bit about his not using a keyboard is a lie. Surely he can write and speak. There is technology available to people whose hands cannot handle a keyboard.

With all the things he is unable to do it would seem that Cindy Lou Who has a very unpleasant task on her hands. Although she has enough $ to hire somebody to wipe McPOW's little ass for him.

I, myself, will make no excuses for McPOW.

The easiest way to counter this is to point out that if he can feed himself, he can use a keyboard.

I hate being put into a position where it seems like I am defending McSame, but heres the deal.

Did you watch the video? He has someone else dial the phone for him, and he doesn't text. It shows him using a laptop device of some type, but it looks like he's using a stylus. It was in the Boston Globe 8 years ago that he can't do things like tie his shoes or comb his hair. I've also read in other places that Cindy does his tie-tying for him and other personal hygiene tasks. I don't know if he can wipe his own ass, as someone asked in this thread, but if he can't should Obama make an ad pointing it out?

McSame has so many other faults, I still just think this is a disaster waiting to happen.

On edit here is McCain using his hands just after his return from Nam. He appears to be smoking a ciggy? Note the pack sitting to his left and the coffee cup on his right?

And I don't know about the finger thing. All I know is what I've read. There is a difference between fine motor control and the abilities it takes to smoke a cigarette or do a thumbs up, but I don't know what his abilities are or are not.

But thats was the whole point of my original thought on this. Why in the HECK does this matter. He's a moron for so many other reasons that attacking him on something that he could even possibly, legitimately tie to his torture isn't worth the trouble. Too many Americans have too much respect for any soldier who endures that kind of abuse that automatically, they get a free pass on anything directly or indirectly related. His 1st marriage ending, this, his use of the work "gook" in 2000; the American people, as a whole, will not batt an eye at those things from someone with McSames military record.

who cares that McSame does not know how to use a computer/internet...This issue is not relevant to the debate. Attack McSame on his lying campaign but to bring this shit into the conversation is STUPID.

That's true for Americans of all ages, etc. And it should be true for the president.

I'm not expert at computers, but if you can't maintain your own files, do your own e-mails, etc. then you usually qualify only for low level jobs. You can't sell toilet stools unless you can input information into a computer. Computers have replaced cash registers and check registers.

How can McCain possibly understand the complexities of our defense if he doesn't understand computers. I want a president who can understand how technology works today.

They're trying to say he can't because of his gimp arms... attempts to defend him are getting pretty... uh, lame.
