3. Bravo:: "If the taxpayers are paying then these companies should be serving the public interest"
Great to see Naomi on msm.

Why did it take eight years plus years to finally see some of our folks on the air?

4. If anyone needs more air time to explain the world,
it is Naomi Klein. She's brilliant, and has these corporate thieves dead to rights.

9. Where is the Personal Responsibility that the Republicans are so Superior about?
Republicans Claim Fiscal Responsibility. Where is the Fiscal Responsibility of the Taxpayers footing the bill, for their lies and excesses?
Republicans Claim Personal Responsibility. Where is the Personal Responsibility when the government bails out the Carlyle Group, and Bear Stearns? Freddie and Fannie are quasi-governmentally owned, but where are the Government owned stocks for the risks that the taxpayers are taking on.
Republicans are Lyers. They do not believe in Fiscal or Personal Responsibility. It is more of do what I say, not what I do.

10. Personal Responsibility
I think that you, like many, misunderstand the Repubs when they speak of "Personal Responsibility". What they mean is: When there's a problem, persons -- i.e. people -- are responsible for the costs and cleanup. See, it's "Personal Responsibility" because it's never the problem of a corporation or other entity, it's the "person's".

So, when a bank writes a bad loan, it's the person getting the loan's "responsibility" to verify that the bank did their homework and ensured that the "person's" finances supported the loan. You're not an accountant? You thought the bank certainly wouldn't lend me the money if they weren't sure I could pay it back? Too bad, you're a person. You, and your fellow taxpaying persons, are responsible.

Or maybe your company just raided your pension fund. Who's responsible for making up the difference? That's right, the person.

Wanna guess who'll be bailing out Wall Street now?

Next time you hear them use that phrase, remember what they mean.

11. I see Personal Responsibility is Responsibility of a Person, then Corporate Responsibility is
Something Completely different. Corporations are not people, hence are not responsible, even though people run them. Amazing how compartmentalization can remove a person from responsibility all together.

12. Corporations are not people
But I thought the courts ruled that they were! So you couldn't sue them....or they at least had the same rights as a PERSON in any law suit. I guess that doesn't apply when instead of acting like a person, corporations act like an idiot.
