A home video of McMansions and Mrs Plastic cooking lobster.
Must be simulcast in 7-8 little screens in each of their kitchens.

2. That's so endearing

Just the simplicity of it, watching a father fix tuna for their lunch. What got me - it's in the details, folks - was how Michelle, while holding the little one, reached over and picked up, what? the pickle jar, and moved it away, over by the refrigerator, to put it away.

That's how real folks do it.

4. He includes a quip about a Grey Poupon experience he had in "Dreams of My Father"

When he was running for Illinois State Senate, one of the first times that he traveled down south in the state he had lunch at a diner with someone who was advising him. The waitress put their orders on the table and Obama asked if he could get some Grey Poupon. The young adviser sort of shushed him and mumbled something about not asking for THAT at this kind of diner. Obama quickly added, "Mustard will be fine." The waitress stared at the advisor and then smiled at Obama, shrugged and said, "We've got Grey Poupon if you want it."

We, those who dwell on main street, aren't quite as dumb as we are made out to be.
