8. I was all prepared for Schieffer to be a biased prick, but I thought he was very fair.

There were a few times that I thought he might have said something but then again I felt that he left it up to the candidates to state their case.

Before the debate I told my wife about Schieffer's associations with the Bushes and McCain. She informed me that she thought he did a great job.

10. I agree

He did a respectable job in spite of his bias, unlike Brokaw who blatantly favored McCain. Bringing up negative campaigning helped Obama a great deal. The format and table arrangement improved matters considerably.
