13. What a fuk face, my girlfriend just had to have a medical Abortion

because the baby was not growing. She was 12 weeks along but the fetus was only the size of a 5 week old. It's the second time it happened to her, she is devasted, this is such bullshit that this dick wad doesn't get it.

I had a pregnancy a few years ago that I had to abort because it would have greatly exacerbated a health condition that I have. Serious, physical risk. Was I supposed to wait until it was life and death? I have kids already here who need a mom, and they take priority over an unborn. It was heartbreaking, and I hate that my horrible decision was mitigated by some air quotes. F you, John McCain.

:hug: Ideologues like McCain and Palin do not have a clue.

I'm 61, and the oldest of four living children. The others don't remember, but our mother lost three: one at full term (the most heartbreaking for her) and two in the first trimester, when she hemmorhaged terribly and almost died. They were not abortions, that much I know-- they were pregnancies gone wrong.

McCain and all those who would deny not just control of our own fertility but even a health exception for an abortion are heartless, and do not see women as full human beings.
