McCain's attack on Obama as being "different," a foreigner/Muslim/terrorist/traitor/socialist continues to be picked up by a few radical McCain-Palin supporters. Today in NC, a McCain supporter name calls Obama. Another diner patron, quickly tells the person to "shut up."

That's really smart of Obama to talk about food. People get warm associations with food.

It fits the general story they're telling themselves: that Obama is somehow foreign-sounding, foreign-seeming, foreign-looking, foreign-leaning, foreign-loving, or foreign-thinking.

they need to face it, we found a candidate who can run as a moderate and be cool, calm, and collected under all this madness. hes a steady man, and i totally have faith in him(even tho i know he wont do all the things id like). thats how this country was meant to be anyway. we yearn for the center, common ground, and over all unity.
