Why would he otherwise make a, "You know em, you've heard em, now- hate em even more!" kind of film, when he can show so well a movie of one of the most influential Presidents' character flaws and the ensuing cluster-fuck that followed? The kind of movie that woman was looking for would do less to the viewers need to question, "Why did we let this happen"? I would be disappointed if Stone didn't make the kind of movie TYT describes.

So, I guess when I DO see it (I'll have to wait for the DVD version, cause my husband won't be able to stand watching it in a theater) it will be for me (and hopefully others) a more intent study the character that was SUCH a mistake to have served this role in life. I've gotten similar messages when seeing other Oliver Stone movies.

And, when this 8 years of absolute shameful history and wreckage is over, we'll ALL do well to study the kind of character WE NEVER WANT TO IN THIS POSITION AGAIN.

I hope W's prosecutions follows the visual of this rubber hitting the road.

and the fatal flaw of all of the characters... LYING! We're to feel their humanity in their decisions and have compassion for them and their decisions for the entire movie? No. Yes, Bush was not smart but that can't cover up the fact that he lied ALL of the TIME and I think Stone could have showed us both sides. He was inept and we feel sorry for him but he was also a liar who didn't care about the lives of so many as long as he was the decider and that he and his cabinet were corrupted before Washington and while they were in Washington. Stone gave Bush a Hail Mary free pass.

I am interested but not so much that I would give ten dollars to see it!
