How much does it cost to get someone to change their views so drastically?

The cynic in me says the answer is it's cheaper to pay someone to say things they don't believe in or care about, they're just looking for the paycheck.

10. Ronnie just read scripts-he was the Pres. of the Screen Actors' Guild

and then ratted people out (falsely) to McCarthy's committee.

He switched to Republican, there's more money in it.

Michael Moore points out in Sicko that the health insurance companies used to have "teas" hosted in living rooms back in the 50's-focused toward women. The hostess would get an LP in the mail explaining the Insur. co's point. The voice reading the script was none other than Ronald Reagan.
