Some are really funny but I do not agree with the whole list. I love smarties!

1. I agree with these guys ...
But, I've seen "fun size" shrink to slightly bigger than bite size over the past couple of years.

I'd add Mary Jane's to the list of candy that sucks.

However, Black Jack or Clove gum is always a nice bonus!!!

2. I don't know if they are still made but
a tie w/ candy corn would be the peanut butter taffy w/ sub par grade glop of peanut butter in the middle. These things were wrapped in orange & black waxy paper and were sold on 3 lb bags. One of the first candies to be marketed just for Halloween trick & treaters (so it doesn't fall the misc wrapped candy category).

And yes, the 'fun' size has gotten so small, we usually hand out 4 or 5 to each kid.

6. Something similar
I remember a candy similar, without the peanut butter center. Just a brown glob of what tasted like burnt sugar, it wasn't hard but it wasn't that easy to chew either. It was wrapped in a wax paper with Halloween images and twisted on both ends. We used to get tons of these, probably because they were the cheapest bang for the buck to buy. But they were horrible.

The low point as a kid was when all you had left were the candy corn etc... the literal 'bottom of the barrel'. BUT YOU ATE THEM ANYWAYS didn't you? :9

8. Yes!
That is exactly the first candy that came to mind when I saw this post, and I always got them every Halloween.

4. I like "fun size" because all the good stuff is fun size (Snickers, Twix, etc.). I like candy bars
I like Candy bars much better than "candy" like Smarties and Nerds.

I actually think Nerds are ok, but I HATE those "misc. hard candies" that old people always gave/give out. And yes, I also despise candy corn.

:)

7. My wife hates Mary Janes
She doesn't want to give them out, but they are a tradition in my family. I bought two bags for Halloween, but I need to get more, because I ate them all.

9. I am giving out full size candy bars this year
Costco had an awesome sale so I went nuts a few weeks ago. What is really amazing is I have not broken the seal on the packages yet.
