telling it like it is. As you said, what the hell is the Mormon Church

doing putting money in California? I know. They're terrified of us gay people having

our own piece of the pie when it comes to loving each other and getting married.

6. I try not to be rude to the Yes on 8 people,

since most of them just seemed misinformed. I find that people are much more receptive if I treat them with respect, especially on issues that evoke such a strong myenteric reaction in so many (such as prop 8).

16. A friend had a better approach

He's a gay man in his 40s. A couple of young Mormon boys knocked on his door -- you know the wholesome, good looking type of boys. He let them go on with their spiel for a while, then asked them what their church's policy on homosexuality was. They told him. He said "So I guess a blow job would be out of the question."

They were gone in about three seconds.

This is the Mormon explanation for the negro race. Spirits that fought most valiantly against Lucifer would be born into Mormon families on planet earth. These would be the lighter skin people.

And I've got the strange looks from a few of my neighbors
viewing my new "No on 8' yard sign to prove it!

Too bad, the signs stay!

This is a civil rights issue and I'll be damned if some homophobic
Fundies are going to take away the right to marry for gays!
