1. "Rich and Irrelevant"? "despondent leftism"?
So, Fox, what'd you think of the guy?

(P.S., is it just me or has John Podhoretz REALLY blimped out?)

...so it goes...

4. Audio Book, Slaughterhouse Five.....

Slaughterhouse Five Audio Book for those who are interested....

Sample Audio at link: http://www.talking-book-store.com/Title.aspx?titleId=222

Kurt Vonnegut's absurdist classic Slaughterhouse-Five introduces us to Billy Pilgrim, a man who becomes 'unstuck in time' after he is abducted by aliens from the planet Tralfamadore. In a plot-scrambling display of virtuosity, we follow Pilgrim simultaneously through all phases of his life, concentrating on his (and Vonnegut's) shattering experience as an American prisoner of war who witnesses the firebombing of Dresden.

Slaughterhouse-Five is not only Vonnegut's most powerful book, it is also as important as any written since 1945. Like Catch-22, it fashions the author's experiences in the Second World War into an eloquent and deeply funny plea against butchery in the service of authority. Slaughterhouse-Five boasts the same imagination, humanity, and gleeful appreciation of the absurd found in Vonnegut's other works, but the book's basis in rock-hard, tragic fact gives it unique poignancy -- and humor.

5. Anti-intellectualism is at the heart of their world
What a pathetic and classless display. It's a safe bet that the Faux cretin giving the snarky report has never read a word the man wrote.

6. Wow!
One of the most important American authors of the XX century has been rendered "irrelevant" by Fox. I guess the old adagio is still true: "Great men die, lesser men rejoice."

It speaks volumes that Fox had to wait until Vonnegut was dead to do a hatchet job on him, they were quite certain that if they had to face him in life he would have out witted them to oblivion. Mental midgets should not be allowed to pass judgment on what is or isn't relevant regarding cultural matters, or any affair for that matter.

I shudder to think what Fox news and pals obituary for Mark Twain had they been around 1 century ago.

7. Unbelievable!
What a despicable, mean-spirited hatchet job. Once again, Faux News shows they have no class whatsoever.
I think we have a new Worst Person in the World candidate.
