Pretending to look for WMDs in his office. Tricking visitors into drinking contaminated water at his ranch. Making "hanging" remarks to Coretta Scott King in front of her late husband's portrait. He had to have a Bush impersonator set up the jokes for him at that press dinner a while back. No wonder Martin Sheen compared him to "a bad comic working the crowd".

So it is SUCH a relief to hear someone who is genuinely funny, and uses that talent to make people think, and inspire them.

p.s. he must have been a heck of a college lecturer!
