'You often hear Americans say that they believe that the US saved Europe or that their government prevented the next world war. In fact their whole social reality is distorted: So by their reasoning, birth rates do not differ significantly between the US and EU because these numbers are influenced by education but rather because Europeans have a perverted culture that is soon "taken over by Islam": e.g. "End of Europe" written by a politics columnist in no less than the Washington post.
The thing is that I do not pick such stories out, but you can find them almost anywhere whenever you read an article/report penned by an American.
The majority of Americans believe whatever the government and media feeds them with (both aligned with economic interests), whilst the media does intentionally avoid giving airtime to academic experts and incorporating their opinions and educated prognosis into programs.'
