that the country didn't want to lose in Iraq- and therefore Americans SUPPORT THE SURGE.

3. Maybe Bush interprets the 2006 election as;

because Americans didn’t elect the candidates that would appose him, so he has the mandate to do whatever he wants, no matter what... What else could it be? :shrug: :nuke:

5. There was SO MUCH election fraud

by the repugs in 2006 that Bush is somewhat correct. The results were so SIGNIFICANTLY low for Democratic victory that he did accomplish a veto-proof Congress that might not have been had they played fair (as if that's possible). Meanwhile we still have our chicken shit Dems not fighting this fundamental attack on our country!

So, Bush can say stupid shit like that and get away with it because he can veto without fear of losing and has a compliant Democratic Congress who REFUSE to address election fraud for whatever stupid reason. EVEN WITH public support!
