He's such a zealot, he makes Warren look like almost reasonable.

However, the quote in the title says enough. "Who cares about the sensibilities of others in relation to their lives? We should be able to insult people in a fundamental way and not be criticized for that."

How stupid is it to ignore the comlaints of such a wide swath of the public as if it is some lone madman. Ignoring a "problem" does not make it go away.

Of course Huckster is going to back one of his own - and these two are the most smooth talking out of all the Evangelicals (I don't include Osteen in that group, or he'd be #1 smooth talker, he's some other kind of animal - not sure what to make of him - I don't see him as an Evangelist per se, he seems nice, but fakey)

I barfed as soon as he started talking about seminary.

He was saying it as if it was such an impressive thing. I said, "Oh really? Wow, what's he studying?" He replied, "Theology. He's at a seminary." He got upset when I wasn't impressed. They shouldn't give doctorates for that. It's like giving a PhD in astrology.

Huckabee doesn't get it yet does he? He clings to his beloved Bible like a caveman clutches his club. He and his ilk (like Warren) use it to abuse and subdue others. Today they don't do it with clubs but they still subjugate women, gays and other minorities with their chosen snippets from the Bible. They conveniently ignore the parts they don't like but use this weapon against anyone they disagree with.

For him to suggest Warren is intellectual? Please, a rock has more intellectual curiosity than Warren. My dogs are Rhodes scholars compared to that pre-historic pre-human.

Huckabee needs to go back under the rock out from under which he crawled. He is pond scum.

with all the background checking being done by the obama campaign for potential employees, you'd think they would have considered as much for rick warren as he has obviously screwed this up big time for the impression of this inauguration being a 'clean break with the past' - even warren's pedophile and incestuous comparisions to gay relationships (not to mention blatant statements on their website, now pulled) shows that they did not make this pick wisely enough to show they are keeping their eyes on the ball

then it must be the right decision. :sarcasm:
