I watched two videos of this speech and they were both cut off in the same place. I have no idea what he said afterward!

3. A link to the transcript,, and the balance of the paragraph that sitting on the editing room floor.
"...without the insane and suicidal selfishness in which we now find ourselves. A world with employment possibility and just wages, with housing, health, education, food and clean water accessible to all is a world we could attain if only we put our hearts and minds to it."

5. My brother is a greed advocate: an Objectivist.
I doubt he blames greed for what's happening today.

8. Yea, we're all human but I disagree that "greed and
Laziness is(?)(I think it should be are) but two of our shortcomings." Firstly, I know many, many people who give in their professional lives by being of service to others. For example, I have a friend who's a social worker. She has a Master's Degree, is incredibly intelligent, and has a whole lot of common sense. If she wanted, I have no doubt she could be a top level executive as a firm of her choosing and would probably make five to six times what she makes now. She chose to be of service to others and makes enough money to own a simple house and take a vacation every now and then. Also, I know very few lazy people at least in my circle of friends. Being greedy and selfish at the expense of others is a choice. Jeffrey Skilling comes to mind since my brother lost 90% of everthng he had because he had worked for Enron as soon as he completed college. Jeffrey Skilling chose to be a greedy piece of scum for himself and himself only while others were catapolted into poverty. I also wouldn't classify being greedy as simply a "shortcoming." It can be a devasting character defect that can ruin the lives of thousands of people. IMHO, greed has almost brought down our country unless Obama, his team, and we Americans who care can figure out how to get out of this disaster that Bush, Cheney, Rove, and the others have left to us as their legacy.
