Although this clip is a couple of months old, the significance of Bamford's research has not rocked the blogosphere like it should. "The Shadow Factory" has some important revelations, including the extent of the involvement of Israeli high-tech firms in wiretapping at the major U.S. telecommunication companies. The firms have serious credibility issues, and extensive ties to Israeli intelligence.

In his book, Bamford talks about a largely unknown entity; NICE Systems, which has a haunting link to 9/11.

3. No, this is the NSA. They specialize in electronic intelligence.

Their charter is only for foreign, not domestic spying. They are being abused, and misused.
