1. thanks bridgit, i'd never seen this before....
as much as i hate that president gore was never allowed to take his rightful place in the oval office, i can't help but think how wrong i was about joe lieberman. what a disappointment. when i agree with chuck hagel, i feel like i've stepped into some alternate universe.

I'd trade Chuck Hagel for Joementum any day of the week!

How I wish he'd pull a Jim Jeffords and caucus with us--and let Joementum follow his heart--straight to Crawford.:mad:

6. Tweety must have fallen off the wagon--there is no prez recently who has
been MORE of an ideologue, more divisive, more partisan, than the Chimperor. I'm beginning to think that none of them believe ANY of their own bullshit--it's just their day jobs. It's like that old Warner Bros. cartoon of the sheepdog and the wolf who would meet every morning at a time clock, say good morning to each other very cordially, punch the clock, and then spend the rest of the day attacking each other.

I'm about an hour away (south) from the big O--welcome to DU! There's a few other Nebraskans hanging around here too--you'll bump into them from time to time. Hope you're enjoying the "blueness" of Oregon as a nice contrast to the utter and ridiculous "redness" of NE!
