1. Fantastic he is laying down the law, but hope he keeps the importance of the word 'we' especaillly >

amongst Democratic party memebers. One thing Thom Hartmann has taught me in his communication tuition on his show is the small words can have the greatest meaning. And the word 'you' is a deadly word in the wrong hands. Far better most times to use somebody, anybody, a person than universal 'you'.

2. Yes ... a lot of people don't get the universal "you" ---
and very many have problems with seeing issues as universal --

will usually always reply to something as it effects "me" -

8. Let the R's just try to block the stimulus. If they do, THEY ARE ROYALLY FUCKED !!
The American people want big, bold, ACTION. They will not tolerate right wing stonewalling. Christ, those frigging people think that the answer to EVERYTHING is a tax cut. Got a sore toe, cut taxes. Got a leaky faucet, cut taxes. Don't like the weather, cut taxes. NO ! The government needs to take some PROACTIVE steps with an AGENDA to fix the economy, not just the same old same old tired worn out ancient Republican thing: just cut taxes (especially for the rich) and everything will be hunky dory. Those fools are so lost in the past we are going to steamroll them for decades !

10. Boner sounded like a mental patient that forgot his medication
And he looks like some porn star with too much makeup.

The very idea that the idiots whose policies CAUSED this entire financial and economic breakdown would have the nerve to suggest more of the same is almost beyond belief even for the Republicans. They're still playing to their base -- those 30% who would vote for Bush and Cheney again if they could -- but you're right! We saw what that "strategy" did for McCain/Palin :D and if they're really stupid enough to continue down their "trickle-down" bullshit path we will certainly be steamrolling them for many years to come. And I really like that thought. Because they truly deserve to be marginalized while their base of fools narrows, and narrows, and narrows until they have no base left whatsoever.

K&R the end of the GOP.

9. Fox News claims that the "I won" comment was back at Eric Cantor
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/01/23/obama-says-view-taxes-prevailed-won/

The "I won" comment came after Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va., said Republicans believed cutting income taxed would do more to stimulate economic growth than providing a $500 per person payroll tax refund for individuals earning less than $200,000. The president said, according to those present, that this was an important philosophical divide between Republican and Democrats and that it had already been settled -- and would remain settled -- because he won the election.

11. Boehner brings up the only economic tool approved of by the Republicons
tax breaks for the wealthy.

Did you notice he said government is not the solution, the people are the solution?

But there seems to be something missing from that sound bite. The people ARE the government in a representative Democracy. So the people in the form of the government is the solution.

Republicons like to pretend that our government is something separate and apart from We the people.
