ilk critizied morning, noon, and night for the bleak picture he painted about our economy.

He put into place the policies that eventually brought OPEC prices down and helped our economy turn around. I remember that very well because I worked in the tourist industry and we took a big hit with his energy policies. I was angry at the time, but must admit he was right.

We are thirty plus years into the future from that point. How the hell was Carter supposed to warn us about what is happening now. His middle name isn't Nostradamus.

Besides, remember, George Herbert Walker Bush's CIA was working against Carter. Wasn't it a CIA member who stole Carter's debate preparation notebook from his desk and gave it to the Reagan campaign? And, credible sources, including the then President of Iran, say that Bush brokered a deal with the Ayatollah K to keep the Embassy hostages hostage until AFTER the election and then until after the inauguration. How was Carter to win against that?

I remember all those things.

Carter is an intelligent, just man who was submarined by the holdover crooks and CIA spooks from the Nixon administration. These charlitans surmised that they could best control the country by installing a senile movie actor as president and running the country from the V.P.s office.

Will and his friends have a concerted effort to change the story but this was how Will originally proved his loyalty to the cause

Today the Left wing is on the rise and the Right Wing has been discredited. Republicans have been exposed for the liars that they are. So Obama can tell the truth, but he needs to frame it the right way. It's in framing the debate with emotional progressive ideas that will help Obama tell the truth and put the Republicans on the defensive again.
