This is a great new song I heard on Stanford Radio a few weeks ago, it's not even released yet. I love it, and get the feeling that with the hard times that have arrived and our coming, we're going to get some great new populist music out of it. People are fed up, we know we're getting screwed, and we ain't too happy.

She is the daughter of Blues legend Johnny Copeland and she is the real deal. She grew up tough and has not forgotten it. Quite a lady and she's only 30 years old. She also was involved in "Bluesapalooza" which was a tour of Iraq and Afghanistan to entertain the troops. Reviews were great and Ms. Copeland said she was honored to do it. A genuinely nice person. And smart as well. Hope you listen to more of her stuff after hearing that tune.

Thanks for the plug. I read up on her after hearing this song, and she does sound terrific. I love the blues, but haven't followed the blues, which is something that I think I need to fix.
