I wanted to put a slideshow together about the global water crisis because this is an issue that is my heart. Unfortunately, I do not at this time have the resources to travel with a slideshow which I would do full time if I could. So hopefully this video I put together will convey the message regarding the urgency of this crisis and the hope we must have in solving it. And there is one slide where Mr. Gore is also mentioned here by people thanking him for being an environmental leader. I just couldn't do a video about this crisis and leave him out of it as he is one of my inspirations. ;-)

WATER WARS, not oil wars.

**the near future, like just around the corner. We can make it without petroleum, but we can't make it more than 2 days with the precious H20.

And all the people in those pictures were poor and are the ones who will suffer most from this crisis and the policues instituted by the haves of this world (The World Bank in particular) to keep this precious resource for themselves or sell it at a very exhorbitant price.

It is good to see more people finally seeing all of this (and unfortunately there is so much more to see) and just hope people also understand that they have the ability to help solve this. We have enough water on this planet now for eveyrone if we would only learn to not be so selfish and gluttonous in our use of it and the other resources of this planet that sustain it. That will not be the case if continue to waste it with wild abandon and continue to spew GHGS into our atmosphere thinking it is not our responsibility to fix.

natural aquifer for thousands of miles around, this bush group has built their legacy upon what is needed by others to either out-right exist, or to operate their businesses...in the not-to-distant future, access to potable water will be at a premium, not to mention water for crops, applications & life process

It is already happening in this world, and they must not be allowed to get away with that.

It is important that these pictures and this message be seen by as many people as possible. This is the most important environmental issue we will face in the 21st century and like the photos in this video show, this is happening all over the world indluding right here in the United States. Wasteful practices regarding irigation that lead to 70% of water usage are accounting for this crisis as well as diversion due to dams, privitization by corporations looking to grab what's left that isn't polluted beyond human use, and climate change which is bringing about the silent killer of drought. So please if you would, recommend this and share it with others because so many do not know just how urgent our global water situation is.
