1. There are only about 5 Republicans who get it
And this is one of them. 78% means 78%

If you are not working with the guy who is at 78% then you are in the wrong place, period.

There is only 10% of the public that really wants this partisanship. Crist is doing the right thing, and I'm betting that Floridians will reward him with a Senate seat while some of his colleagues go up in flames the next time they stand for election.

Frankly part of me wishes that he were as stupid as the rest of the GOP because I'd really like to get that Senate seat.

2. But the good news is that with folks like Crist and Schwarzenegger supporting the bailout,
the lack of support from the other R governors reflects all the more poorly on them.

3. Face it. As during the Carter/Reagan period, voters and
politicians and parties are realigning. Crist sounds like a middle-of-the-road Democrat by today's standards.

6. And if the GOP keeps heading out to sea
with people like Palin and Jindal, we may see people like Crist and other intelligent Republicans come over to our side.

7. This is what I've been secretly hoping for. n/t
Seems like we're witnessing a potentially dramatic split in the Republican party that can only be to our benefit. Possibly part of President Obama's long game?

5. Well, If you're in FL. be ready to back him for re-election
Because the RW neo-nazi facist crowd will be throwing everything at him including the kitchen sink to unseat him. Don't say I didn't warn you. I heard my Gov Boobengrabber back Obama on NPR news. Cool. Obama, not Arnold.
