but ride any transit bus or subway and you see decent hard working people almost grimly carrying on. Yet they allow the lying pig to run the show, and also to then blame the victims for being crushed by the very things the lying pig pushes in the news and so on...stepanopolice is a lying pig, but watch him enjoy life, and lie to his heart's content

6. Snuffalopogus made the Repubs' long-standing position of opposing tax hikes sound virtuous.

It would have been if they'd cut spending. But over the past 30 years, they've shown that they're irresponsible in handling the budget by cutting taxes while increasing spending like drunken sailors. The national debt doubled under Reagan. It doubled again under Bush II.
