3. "Met the objectives...."
...really? Last I checked, you boy-buggering, drug-addled fat bag 'o shit, there's an intelligent, thoughtful man in the WH (as opposed to an angry old prick and his dumbass sidekick), a strong DEMOCRATIC majority in the House and a 59 DEMOCRATIC Senate majority.

Really looks like you and your ditch liquour quaffing "fanboys" accomplished your mission, fat man.

7. definition of "open" primary
Shuster is mistaken about the meaning of "open primary". Michigan has an open primary. The voter is asked which party ballot he wants. No registration is required. So voters are free to do mischief by voting in the primary of party they ordinarily don't support.
Ohio and Pennsylvania have closed primaries. You must be registered in the party in whose primary you vote. So what Limbaugh did was far worse. He encouraged people to switch party registration from Rep (or Ind) to Dem in advance of the primary. He tried to thwart the democratic process which he professes to admire. Of course, the ditto-heads can't see this contradiction, comparing it to the media's support for Obama. Limbaugh is a menace, and now he is more influential than ever!

18. This isn't hypocrisy
I'll rag on Rush till the cows come home, but there isn't anything wrong with this. Rush Limbaugh has spotted what he believes to be a weakness in the primary structure, and he wants that weakness closed up in his party while exploiting it in the Democratic Party. Unfortunately for Rush, the whole idea is absurd on its face - people tend to vote for their own Party come primary time. If Democrats were picking Republican candidates and vice versa, Ron Paul would have been running against Joe Lieberman. For all of Rush's shenanigans, Barack Obama still won the nomination going away, and he cleaned John McCain's clock in the general.
