That Guilani is even thinking of running for the WH after telling these people it was safe to work at Ground Zero and then to basically abandon them is beyond me.

These first responders need medical care and we (as in Americans--all of us) owe it to them to take care of them for the injuries suffered in the wake of 9/11. My health insurance policy doesn't cover me in case of acts of war. Does yours? If not, we need to get in gear. The next 9/11 can happen any time, any where to anyone. A very cool guy, down to earth, has gone through an amazing amount of suffering but has kept his head and has a real mission.

...the ISSUE is this:

MICHAEL MOORE does NOT "distort the facts".

DISTORTING THE FACTS (or just NOT reporting them) is the job of the mainstream media ie: Fauz Snooze, MSNBC, CBS, et al.

MICHAEL MOORE UNdistorts them. He takes that lens and brings those facts into STARK, CLEAR focus for the nation to see. And THAT is the problem the bu$histas have with him. He EXPOSES and upsets the status quo that keeps them all RICH, FAT, AND HAPPY AT OUR AND OUR BIGGEST HEROES EXPENSE (ie: troops, and the 9-11 responders, not to mention the poor, minorities, working people, consumers, etc.)

It's NOT that he distorts the facts. It's that he DOESN'T.

I cannot WAIT to see this film and I WILL support it even more fervently now that the bu$histas and the plutocracy are mad. ALL they've done is to ENSURE that this film will be a HUGE HIT the moment it hits the screens. Because people want and NEED to know how they are being SCREWED by the 1% who control the power and wealth in this country.

Pollyannas need not attend the screenings. They can just keep watching Faux Snooze, MSNBC, CBS, et al, in eternal oblivion. The rest of us want the FACTS. UNdistorted. And THAT comes from people like Moore.

IF the LAMESTREAM MEDIA were doing their freaking jobs, people like Michael Moore and the documentaries they produce wouldn't BE so popular. To those who don't like Moore's work, I always say: "TOUGH. Because Moore is NOT the problem. He is a SYMPTOM of the problem. The PROBLEM is that the lamestream media isn't doing its job. IF IT WERE, we wouldn't NEED Michael Moore and those like him to report the damn FACTS that the lamestream media REFUSES to."

We all must get behind this film and ensure that everyone we know sees it!

Editorializing the news ... what a way to start off the story by the teleprompter talking head ... it could just as easily begun with: "Film maker of such notable documentaries as .... Michael Moore ...."
