Dennis Miller has not been the slightest bit funny for years - and I think I'd say that even if I weren't on the left. He just isn't funny. He tries to come off as "righteous indignation ranting" but it always strikes me as simple whining.

Denis Leary is much better. I always find him funny, even when he is spewing hateful stuff.

12. True Dennis Miller has never been funny

It is like he is cracking a joke and at the same time making fun of his audience. Dennis Leary stole Bill Hicks's act and that is pretty unforgivable

If Miller tried to steal Hicks' act, he failed miserably.

Bill Hicks was a giant, and Dennis Miller is a hack.

I didn't compare Miller to Hicks at all, the post I responded to was saying that they were huge Dennis Leary fans and I was posting about how Dennis Leary stole Bill Hicks's act.
