This is unconscionable, what is being allowed to happen. The lecture to the rest of us mortals that "we're all in this together" apparently isnt getting through to those folks.

This was fraud, pure and simple. The people selling these products knew or should have known that their representations about the products were false and misleading, that they did not disclose to their purchasers that their representations about the products were false and misleading and that they (the sellers) were making those false representations in order to induce the purchasers to buy the products to the detriment of the purchasers and that the purchasers, indeed, did suffer detriment due to their purchases. My language may not be 100% on, but somehow, seems to me there is a cause of action for fraud in there. If the government can pursue as many people for drug offenses as it has over the past 50 years, they can certainly go after those who sold these fraudulent products.

Finally somebody telling the truth about all of this. Rubin, Clinton, Summers, Geithner, Paulson, the Bush family . . . time to clear them all out.
