Governor Palin made her statement to PEOPLE magazine of all places, so we we see what arena she is operating in - this is going to turn into the Jerry Springer Show before you know it - as her national political ambitions nose dive further in the GOP's eyes. If there is one thing they hate worse than No publicity, it's Bad-Values publicity. Palin is obviously very worried about Monday's interview.

I beg to differ--Levi no doubt got a pretty penny for giving that interview, which he can "contribute to the well being of the child". It's not his fault that the job market's so poor that "exploiting his relationship" is the only way he can make money!

I feel bad for Bristol Palin. She's only a teenager and her mistake was broadcast to the entire world and "managed" by a presidential campaign. Then this jerk goes on Tyra and talks about their sex life? Yuk! Bristol, because her mom is such a loon and likes weird names, is going to become a person with one name - like Madonna, Gwenyth, Rhianna... Everyone knows who Bristol is now. Poor girl. Thank God she broke up with this jerkoff.

Levi into the campaign, at times THREATENING him and his family if he didn't pledge to marry Bristol and wear a tux at the convention?

She wouldn't have issued such a strident, over-the-top condemnation if it hadn't been so.

7. She must've got word of something other than the clips that were released

her statement wasn't really addressing the issues I saw in clips so far - so it must be something vewwy vewwy personal - because she made her attacks (coming from an adult in power to a kid who is 'part of the family') VEWWY ugly and VEWWY public.

12. Is there anyone that expected this to have any other outcome than this?
Surely all the adults here knew when this all hit the fan in the campaign how it would end. The only thing that surprised me was the boy's mom being a drug dealer, I would've expected that to be more his line.

The Republicans attempted to make the young couple appear as two dedicated young people who had a firm commitment to each other. They were the modern Romeo and Juliet, just two innocent young people overcome by their love for each other. A slight indiscretion that was to be easily discounted and often happens to young lovers. Everything was going to be just lovely.

Wait for the rest of the drama. Its getting better and better each day.
