1. I have to think Limbaugh's screeners keep calls like that out most of the time.

And Rushie let his ego take over because he wanted to "show this guy who's boss." Resulting in his loss of control and subsequently looking like an ass.
No doubt the screener will pay for Limpy's fuck up. And Limpy goes on as though nothing happened.

10. That this seems so remarkable to people,.....

shows how remarkable it is for a critical caller to get past Limbaugh's screeners. It's a weakness of the right, espeically now: they cocoon themselves, refuse to engage in debate with able lefties, whine and bitch and indulge themselves, grow ever more out of touch with how most people think, and then wonder why they lose elections.

12. Limbaugh did what Limbaugh, and the others...

...do. They let the guy say what he had to say...gave him some feedback...then cut him off and let loose with their diatribe. Notice that the last coupla' sentences, and name-calling that Rush resorted to came 'after' he had flipped the switch on the caller so that he couldn't respond. It's how they all do it. So what if they let another point of view on - they have to in order to give their audience some meat - they know they'll have the last word and will be able to claim that they've gotten the best of 'em.

13. Another good caller today - but the Gasbag was ready - He claimed he was out of time & if the caller

would leave his number with the screener, Limbaugh would call him back tomorrow. - Yeah, sure.

This caller was making a great case in support of unions & against big corporate payouts. He sounded like an older man, and was very respectful. But Rush cut him off with an "I'm sorry, we're out of time, leave your number with the screener and I'll call you back". Poor Rush - he does so poorly when challenged. But he sure shines when he uses that mute button.
