The chief of a small Central Texas town's police department has been fired and jailed for allegedly using a Taser gun on his wife after an argument.

1. Charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
It's usage should be restricted the way guns are now that they acknowledge it's a deadly weapon.

2. I'm fairly certain that they always use the word "deadly"
Although I agree that tasers are a deadly weapon, they would use that phrase even if he hit her with a banana.
