1. Dude had a point...but his delivery is pretty sad.
I agree....there are opposing groups to the success and failure of President Obama. So much of the other business was just a little offensive for effect??

Oh well...on to my chores.

7. I disagree, I thought that it was great
Apparently I am in the minority here, based on the other comments that I see, but I thought that the guy was pretty funny, made some very good points and was interesting to watch. For some reason, many folks here don't like his delivery, but this won't be the first time I like something that most don't. I do agree on your comment about the "offensive for effect" point. For some people, cursing and obsenities really work, but for this guy I think that it took away from the rest of the video. But hey, who the fuck am I to complain about people cursing. :)

2. I had no problem with the delivery -
It's better and more interesting than so many stuffed shirts.

I see another component of the polarization - there are really three factions - the far left which are disappointed in Obama. I happen to be a member of this faction. So here you have Obama - can't please the far right and can't please the far left - very polarizing and potentially dangerous. Political factions in this country are fascinating...I have two wishes: that I had a crystal ball and that there were more than two VIABLE political parties in this country. :dilemma:

4. The far right has every reason to be happy with him so far
his first priority was to bailout Wall Street, he doesn't intend to start withdraw from Iraq or Afghanistan anytime soon, he will protect all members of the Bush administration from prosecution, he's in favor of warrantless wiretapping and the patriot Act, on and on.

Obama seems to have much more in common with Bush and the neocons than he has in common with the left. Hannity and Limbaugh may spout faux outrage all day long until they're blue in face, but I think its just political theater for ratings and their way of helping to mask what Obama is really about, when in reality the right couldn't be more pleased with him.

Hyperbole much?

Obama is not the do-all and end-all, but this is a bit much.

9. Well, there's no doubt he's a DLCer
conservative Dem, Blue Dog, that's who Obama is. His repudiation of Howard Dean and the DNC and the embrace of DLCers into his administration left no doubt Obama stands solidly with the right wing of the party.

3. creepier and creepier as it goes on
and I believe he's wrong in that most Dems- nearly all- have a big question mark over their heads when Obama seems to be going haywire on his 'change' promises, but suddenly we have no access- even some of our senators we were so sure about 5 months ago are ignoring the will of their constituents on many issues. This will not bode well in the next election cycle should it continue.
stoopid analogy: obsessing over your socks while your house was robbed and a tornado is immanent, many of the senators seem content with incompetence- possibly after 8 years they have only inflated assessments of themselves.
