understanding of evolution and science. Is there any wonder we lag behind other nations in science education? This is no surprise when those elected to represent our best interests continue to suggest creationism and intelligent design are on equal footing with evolution. Evolution is NOT a matter of opinion!

2. The American Taliban hates science

and education. It's "unGodly". Sorta like that "other" Taliban who hates it (at least for their "wimmin") and for the same reason. CLUE: It has nothing to do with "Godliness" or "unGodliness". It has to do with CONTROL.

Creationism hardly has the status of "theory". It is not equally legitimate. The only legitimacy creationism has is in church and in the minds of the uneducated.
