Rush will take like he always does: by telling twice the usual number of lame racist jokes on Monday.

but I think Cheney and Limbaugh deserve more than just harsh words for the suffering they have caused.

That was my favourite segment too.

I saw some of Wanda Sykes' skit this morning. I thought some of it was a little harsh, even the comment about Rush Limbaugh. However, even that joke was pretty funny.

Just a few minutes ago I was watching the news and saw that some Republican websites were upset about the Limbaugh joke. I do not think Repubicans should be complaining about that joke. Any Democrat could argue at least Sykes was partly joking and that was only after Limbaugh said he wanted Obama to fail. During the Bush Administration, Republicans seriously called Democrats tratiors for saying much less. Mainly, all a Democrat had to do during the Bush Administration was to have a different opinion from Bush and point out that one or more of his ideas would most likely have negative results. Ann Coulter wrote a whole book in which she called Democrats traitors. So, after eight years of calling Democrats traitors just because they were willing to say the president might be wrong, Republicans should not complain when a comdeian makes a joke accusing a Republican of being a traitor after that Republican said he wished a Democratic President would fail. At least he had to actually hope for the president to fail whereas the Democrats only had to point out that the president had bad ideas.

Isn't that usually the case?

I may even turn on Rush tomorrow just to hear him have a conniption fit. She did something HUGE here - let millions more people know what a nutcase the guy is. Can't imagine how he'll spin it.

Obama when he went to Europe?

and traveling to where he did is not something I could afford...still, caught it in this forum and thought it pretty strong. He came up with "a world free of nuclear weapons".
The overall reception of him is excellent! Of course that also has to do with the bar set below the ground by Bush*, but still.

Just this morning, when a book on communication was discussed on state radio, they referenced Obama as a prime example of someone who masters words and communicates in a way people really "get".
