1. I used to play this one all of the time.

It was on a Tommy Boy compilation cassette of their greatest hits.

This song struck a chord with me, as it was my first introduction to Malcolm's words and orations. Much of what he says should apply today no matter what you believe.

"If you're afraid to tell the truth, why, you don't deserve freedom."

2. That's exactly why I posted it.

We're on the same wavelength. I remember hearing it, and thinking that Malcolm X made a hell of a lot of sense. And why does everyone think he is so militant and evil. I didn't know about spin and propaganda yet. I still think there is a strong undercurrent of good in America. It sure doesn't look that way on the surface, though.

That line is a good one. Almost sounds like Thomas Jefferson.
