from the Bush Administration are laughing their asses off to see everyone and their brother waterboarding one another on YouTube. Ha hahahaha...what fun!!

Sure does take people's minds off of even WORSE crimes like sodomizing boys while their mothers had to watch, and shoving various implements up detainees rectums. Wouldn't want the American people to be reflecting on that, would we!!

He didn't hold the nose closed, and it didn't appear the feet were inclined. If they are going to do it, do it the right way -- the way that Cheney's boyz do it.

I'm Michael, the guy being waterboarded in the video.

Here's some facts. My body was at about a 10% decline from feet to head.
The rag was pre-soaked with water. My nose was not pinched, and when he put his hand on my face he was pulling up on the bridge of my nose so more water would run in. My mouth was not covered so that he could pour the water on my mouth.
It wasn't meant to be accurate, but it was extremely difficult to control myself. You may not really see it in the video, but I do start to convulse even in the first 21 seconds (yes he messed up counting to 15). During the second administration, I think I only made 13 seconds before my head felt like it was completely full of water and there was no way to take a breath. I might have been able to fight it, but I could not have done this a 3rd or 4th time in a row....

My point was to see whether it was truly torture, and it is.

I had some advantages that those being tortured didn't have. I was not frightened, disoriented, blinded, or threatened.

If I had been all of these things, I would have admitted to anything, whether I knew it or not... Just to get them to stop.

My argument is that torture does not always produce reliable results when used as an interrogation technique.

It also wastes resources, because they have to stop the torture, and then check the information.

You didn't have any concerns that kids who watch Youtube.com might try this as well, just for fun? You know, like sticking mentos in the coke bottle thing?? Do you know how many videos were made of that?

This was a dangerous stunt, that could get some kid killed, especially if things went wrong.
Even that radio talk show host who did it, had a paramedic near by, just in case.

I did have a fire department right across the street.

Nothing could have gone wrong. I was not tied down like Christopher Hitchens was.

I was free to stop it any time I felt uncomfortable. I was fighting it. And I did stop it when I couldn't take it anymore.

Yes I am aware of kids seeing it. As a matter of fact, my 15 year old son who is taking college classes videoed it, and my 11 year old daughter watched as well.

The only point of the experiment was to see if I would give up. Which I did.

My argument is whether I would have given true information to get it to stop. I do not believe so.

I'm registered NPA, but I voted for Obama.

The radio guy that did is Mancow, and it was for charity. It wasn't even real. It was a bit.
