MSNBC Countdown w/ KEITH OLBERMANN - 1 June 2009:

KEITH: "What is it that you do not know that the American people, all of us, must know now."

SANCHEZ: "Well, I think first of all we must understand as Americans that his problem of interrogation goes much broader than just Iraq This is a very complex strategic failure for America that stretches from the executive and legislative branches and their faltering in the development and oversight of the policy to the interagency which failed in the execution details for that policy and it stretches down to the individual levels within the theatres where the abuses actually occurred."

2. A truth commission? How would such a commission decide whether
to investigate a certain type of activity? How would it know what is legal or illegal, acceptable or not? Only a court can make those fundamental judgments. That's what courts are for. Let the courts do their job.
