They make me sick when they say they don't condone violence when all they do is cultivate it and celebrate when it is done. oreilly et al offered their opinion. that's still legal in the US.

fwiw, it is perfectly legal to say "i agree with violent jihad. i also agree with what the murderer of army recruiter did"

that's a lot stronger than what oreilly has done (since oreilly has condemned the murder), but it would still be legal.

you need a lesson in constitutional law and free speech.

otoh, if it can be shown that oreilly committed slander or libel, than that is civilly actionable.

calling tiller a murderer would not apply, but other statements of oreilly could be looked at.

and I doubt that they were too keen on condoms and the pill ...

This source is from 11 years ago, things haven't got any better. It's like O'Reilly & Co. aren't concerned so much about children as they are about seeing women die. This is the real scandal.

I think that democrats should flood Fox News. Unfortunately, it has a big audience so if that audience only get one side, reinforced over and over again, whatever Fox pundits say becomes true. I don't think just any democrat should go on, but if they have the same type of balls Gibbs displayed in his conversation with Hannity during the election, then I say go for it. Fox is the channel the Democrats should be on especially.

Yesterday evening, my family and I went to a trendy restaurant for a quick dinner. Of the SIX televisions in the establishment, five were on ESPN; the other on FOX. I knew I had to say something. But I wasn't looking forward to having to introduce the topics of abortion and assassination. I simply went to the counter and asked if he could turn that TV to any channel but FOX. Without a moment's hesitation, he did. Didn't even want to know why. Although I was completely prepared to explain why, he didn't even care.

Way too easy.

It's a good way to get rid of FAUX Noise in establishments like McDonalds, where FOX Noise literally buys the TVs and puts businesses under a contract to play FAUX Noise at all times.

I love causing contract violations between evil corporations... :evilgrin:
