Stern ripped on Rush pretty good in Miss America, as well. Stopped listening to Stern years ago, though, when he turned bitter and misogynistic.

Yes, Howard Stern's channel was interesting...for a while. (I had a Sirius radio in a rental car a year ago and listened to it for about 18 hours during a trip.)

But then, when we listened to the Broadway channel, and the 80's channel, and the other assorted channels...it became obvious that Sirius programs on VERY SHORT playlists, and with no live human beings behind the wheel of most stations. Things started REPEATING.

I actually bought an XM radio cheaply at an auction. Hooked it up for tests and heard the free channels. Was considering paying for the service. After that trip...well, I don't know exactly where I threw the radio, but I sure as hell am not going to activate it.

Rush Limbo a/k/a Lardo gets what he deserve.

Stern is still awesome.

I don't listen to him because I don't have satellite radio but he has always been great. You do NOT take on Stern...you will surely lose

..with his disgust of Rush but every time I hear someone attack Rush with the old fatboy angle, I just feel it was a wasted opportunity to expose him for his true faults (which are many) i.e. fear-mongering, neocon propaganda spewing, anti-american, racist, sexist, etc. Not to mention I feel sorry for all the good overweight people out there who are slighted in the process.
