I don't want to, but I couldn't agree with him more. There is something I am missing here. Something I simply am not getting. How can anyone justify letting these people get away with this? It really boggles the mind.

Seven and a half years of torture and isolation, then let go uncharged? What have we become? Worse, what will the next asshole do who is even worse than this last administration? THAT is what scares me the most.

Are we going to allow them to set the precedent? I say we because the ball really is in our court now, so to speak. I fear the matter has already been settled.

Easy...it's a political calculation, pure and simple. Of course even if it's right politically, it's wrong on the law, the Constitution and principle.
