MSNBC The Rachel Maddow Show - June 10, 2009: Profiles Holocaust Museum Killer Right Wing Domestic Terrorist James W. Von Brunn. Shows his Free Republic post screen capture, and his "Hitler's Worst Mistake" internet article. Rachel also reports on his 1981 arrest and six-and-half-year incarceration. She discusses the DHS domestic terror report, as well.

She interviews Mark Weitzman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. He says they were aware of his name and internet presense... "but he was not a high-profile person in the movement."

1. Perhaps it's just a coincidence...

...but the fact that he is 88 years old is interesting. It's the favourite number of the neo-nazis in Germany. In Germany it's forbidden by law to say "Heil Hitler". "H" is the 8th letter of the alphabet, so "88" is code for "Heil Hitler". Did he wait until he had reached this age to commit his crime as a hat tip to the Nazis?
