CBS News - 12 June 2009: Kennedy Corpus scored one good excuse at President Obama's health care town hall Thursday.

REPORTER: "What do you think your teacher is going to say?"

KENNEDY CORPUS: "She's gonna say 'that's really great, Kennedy.'"

REPORTER: "Did you tell her in advance that you were coming to see the President? You got permission in advance to come here?"

KENNEDY CORPUS: "I told her I was coming this morning, because we only got the tickets last night from the mayor of Green Bay."

REPORTER: "What did you think of what the President said today?"

KENNEDY: " I think that he said a lot about health care, and I think they really need the health care to be a little lower in cost."

Perhaps she can convince President Obama?

It's obvious that NCLB has failed at her school - she still thinks.
