I have not finished reading about Hexadecimals but I can't believe I see these all the time and never knew...I feel dumb.

However, I still have no idea what these guys are doing????

MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) code is all in Hex... F0 starts a string, and F7 ends it for example...

Hex decoding is pretty easy to do and lots of people know code like this. It is HIGHLY unlikely that it would be used for anything sensitive.

Northcom | North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command are planning to conduct a combined exercise June 18 - 24 that will incorporate several military exercises with a National Guard exercise. What it is, is something meant to look important like a code, but be really easy to figure out.

Now it does have the advantage that someone has to spend a little time, but with a bunch of numbers your pretty guarenteed someone will look at it.

Also the episode of doctor who, the code entered to stop the bad cybermen in the episode age of steel, was ascII to text saying dol0 dol is the unit of measure for pain, so Dr. Who used this same device to say the answer is to end suffering. Also seen ascII to text in movies.

I do not mention Dr. Who because they are relevant to this post, only showing simple ascII to text has been used in movies before.

Many games do viral marketing like this, but if it has names of real people or ideas of destruction in the world that is doubtful.

funny, I don't think so

I was speaking of the narrow context I used it in. Also I say the time thing is funny, because I know time travel does not exist, but I understand its usage, to me, the only thing that has access to all time is the alpha and the omega, which to me is God. So it might be my views are different then some people.

I do not have any need or desire to worry about that stuff.

Its fear based.
