2. What really struck me about Palin's farewell was this.

She was obviously acting in a self-serving way and contrary to her commitment to Alaska, yet portrayed her move as a favor to her state! Now that takes some brass. Like a cheater leaving their spouse for their lover and explaining to the former, "I'm doing this because I don't want to hurt you any more!"

The GOP put the country at great risk by nominating this batshit crazy woman for VP. She was CLEARLY not qualified to be President. If McCain won, we would be one 72-year-old heartbeat away from President Palin.

Are you fucking kidding me? The GOP gave us the disaster that was Bush and then they wanted to foist Sarah Palin upon the American people?

This is a VERY relevant issue and it shows me that the Republicans couldn't give two shits about the American people. She quit halfway through her first term as governor and the GOP was telling me this woman was qualified to be President?

Give me a fucking break.

A governor up and quits in the middle of her FIRST term, holds an incoherent press conference, stuns the entire nation, creates controversy inside and outside her own party.... and you expect Keith NOT to cover it?
